As the 2ND owner of a high mileage "good" condition e30, I would say no. I got mine as an impulse buy, for cheap. It had a full service history, but still cost me more than $11K over the last 3 years. Things that will cost you: gearbox. Went through 5 before I found one worth keeping. CPU. Went through 7 of these before tracing the wiper motor short that was frying them. They are not cheap. Good thing is the entire electrical system is 100% now...
